First Snow of 2013 - East Grand Rapids, MI

It's true! 
Winter has returned.  The first noticeable snow of the season arrived today (November 11) around 1:00 PM in East Grand Rapids.

The contrasting flower color and form of
Ligularia 'The Rocket'  & Bee Balm
seen here in the foreground create a lively combination through which to view the Sunken Garden further away.
